Non-NHS Work

Some services provided fall outside the scope of the NHS and therefore attract charges. Examples include the following:

• Medicals for pre-employment, sports and driving requirements (HGV, PSV etc.)
• Insurance claim forms
• Prescriptions for taking medication abroad
• Private sick notes
• Vaccination certificates

Doctors no longer sign passport forms or applications for firearms licenses.

Our reception staff will be happy to advise you about appointment availability and applicable charges.

We do endeavour to deal with all request for reports and medicals in a timely manner. However, there can sometimes be delays to this provisions when doctors are away on leave or not available for other reason. If you have a request that is urgent, please inform our reception staff at the time of request and we will ensure that the work is completed as necessary.
